Was a while since I packed this bag. Feels nice.

I’m working so much in front of the computer these days.. Not really taking the time to be in nature as much as I used to. Maybe also because I am currently living in the country side with nature all around me. Anyhow, today I thought it was about time to get out a bit. Walked around in an area I am not so often visiting.

I am always curious in winter time to try to figure out all the tracks of animals that you can find in the snow. Especially interesting I think is the traces of predators, like fox or even larger ones. I am just about sure that I saw a wolf many years ago in this area. Though few people would believe me as it is not an animal typically seen here.. But the thing came out of the forest and playfully walk beside my car before deviating back and disappearing.. I mean.. The only option is that it was a really big wolf looking dog out walk alone with no owner in sight.. But then again, what dog looks like wolf and has the height of a car 🙂 well ever since I am always looking out for any trace of this species. This is the closest I got today.. Though probably more likely fox or badger or something like it.

After a few days of milder weather winter returned with lots of snow and a few minus degrees Celsius. Felt its was time to light a fire and drink some hot lemon tea with honey to curb a little bit of the chilly feeling. 

I have been working remotely pretty consistently now for a few years. And I feel I am now really starting to get a hang of it. It takes some time to get comfortable with video calls, sharing screens and collaborating in online documents. But the tools and technology has really improved and sometimes I wonder if it isn’t actually more convenient share a screen online than trying to squeeze several people in front of a physical screen. The squeezing of course can be cosy at times.. but when you really want things done, I think that the remote model kan be very interesting. Everyone feels relaxed in the comfortable of their own home or office, and once the meeting is over, you can get right back to what ever business you were up to before the meeting took place.

Great time with friends and quite a few hours in online business meetings this weekend. Best mix of everything in other words. Celebrating with dr Oetker pizza.. (no I’m not sponsored though I think I should be..?! ^^

Discovered a small leakage problem in one of the radiators. I always feel very satisfied when I manage to fix any problem like this, since I am definitely no expert.. Fingers crossed that the leak is now gone.. ^^

Visit by friends, walking in the forest, playing in the snow, lots of fun 🙂
