The last couple of weeks have been a mix of business and hangout with friends. Now back in the country house where everything was as cozy and peaceful as one could expect and hope for (always a little scary when you are away unplanned for a longer period of time, at one time many years ago there was a big bird that had entered the house through the chimney and was hopping around in the house when we entered..).
Anyhow, back and well, making some pancakes for dinner.
The kitchen fan broke down like six months ago or something like that.. But nice I thought it was really time to fix it since Christmas is coming up and we will celebrate here in the country house. Pretty proud over myself after having gone to the village, bought the new fan, and installed it, in a couple of hours.. ^^
A stroll in one of my all time favorite areas, not least in the autumn part of the year.
Finally some classic Swedish mushrooms, however not hunted by moi, but by my nice friend who have them to me. Merci!
Back in the capital for one day to have a business meeting in one of my projects. Happy to have my sister on board this business idea. We also had the time for a really nice lunch and fika after the meeting. (Stay tuned for more info about this business idea that I will reveal here in my blog within a few months hopefully).
On my way to Tranås. It’s amazing how much time and effort that can be put into just handling the daily life and business. I am so impressed by all people with kids that finds the time to handle everything. Truly inspiring. But I find that the only way to approach this challenge, regardless of your situation in life, is to process one thing at a time and then to constantly improve one’s prioritization skills, i.e. to learn to skip as much of the unimportant things that one might engage in and to do more of the productive stuff.. I am so anxious, amongst other things, to share more music related info soon.. Stay tuned.
Sorry I haven’t written anything in a long time. Guess I entered holiday mode.. And tried to stay away as much as possible from the computer 🙂 today stopping by in Jönköping for some work. I have had some work here during the summer and will be here a few more times before I return to my location independent life. I will try to post a few of my summer moments soon to give you a glimpse of my summer so far. The biggest news regarding my digital nomad life is probably that I quit my apartment and now actually don’t have my own place anymore. But of course I have my family’s country houses to resort to when I am not somewhere else. Quitting the apartment of course is a big step nevertheless but it feel really good having taken the leap, not only to save some money for other investments but also to force myself to move my life in a more interesting direction. I will probably want to travel some more and also try to find myself some calm and relaxed places where I can develop my business and also more seriously start making, writing and recording music. Birthday party in Nässjö this weekend, BBQ and a visit to the summer party. Some nice 50′ feelings there and happy people. Next stop, mid-summer celebration. But first a couple of days of work. I hope I will be more productive this week.. Last week went in real slow motion.

A dear friend of mine is getting married so I need to dig into that forgotten part of the “wardrobe” containing the nicer clothes. I actually really like to suit up but the problem is that I don’t have so much to choose from in this category. Well, I hope I can get something together and show up decent looking. Fingers crossed.
I don’t really see many draw backs of life on the country side.. But here’s one..creepy animals staring at you when you are on your way to the shower… :/
Finally warm and sunny. Back in the country side. Wonderful and lovely days with family. Also the piano needed some service. After all I have played this piano for more than 35 years now. And lately the kids of my sister and brother started using it as well.
