Skype Meeting and Snow outside the Window

Just finished a lovely Skype meeting with colleagues and mentors in the Music App project. Homework until today was to complete a Strength Insight Psychology test. Very interesting and fun to learn more about oneself in this way.

Otherwise it is very exciting to be on our way, can’t believe that I will have the coolest music app for me and others to enjoy, hopefully within a few months from now. I know I will love this app, but can of course not be sure that anybody else will. Though I guess there should be!

At the same time today was a really wintry windy day with snow fall making the windows the perfect cozy backdrop for my meeting (yes.. the meeting started when it was still daylight outside:).

Trying to envision my new platform for daily creativeness

Nice house – Myresjöhus –

Quite a nice workday this Monday, now taking some time to envision the future a little bit. My own house and a grand piano would be really really nice and useful I think. I have realized over the last few weeks how much I enjoy just being at home, occupying myself with different projects, creating and learning, playing music and composing. Let’s see what happens.

Nice Piano – Yamaha –

Entering Studio Mode

One of my projects (classified for now… but stay tuned for official announcement later this year! 🙂 ) finally “forced” me set up my piano and a simple recording equipment. This is really cool since I’ve been thinking about recording music for a long time now, but all the stuff have been sleeping in boxes and standing against walls.. And you know the feeling when you are looking for just the right cables and gadgets in order to get everything to work.. Haha quite a project.. Though now everything is actually in place and I’ve even got the whole thing to sound pretty nicely.

Moonlight obsession

To combine my recent obsession about the moon with my desire to spend more time playing music, I thought that a next logical step would be to rehearse the good old sonata nr 14 by Beethoven, also known as the Moonlight Sonata.

To make it more interesting and original I am thinking of playing this piece on the old piano that was more or less the first piano I ever played and that once belonged to my grandfather’s sister. What’s interesting with this piano except for its age is that it’s tuned about one half note lower than normal, which gives it a certain mellow sound.

So let’s just hope I didn’t forget everything a about playing the piano (I only played very occasionally during the last 20 years or so 🙂 and hopefully I will be able to post a one of a kind performance for you to enjoy here on the blog soon ^^ It’ll be a lot of fun.

Christmas Feeling @ Last

I’ve been working pretty intensively by my computer over the last weeks, it takes some time to build up a good routines and habits and to become effective and produce the results you want. I feel really happy though an still very appreciative over the fact that I can be here in the country house getting the space and calmness that I need to focus on the things that I want to have done. Here’s just a small video to show a small glims of my own personal Christmas feeling here on the country side. Accompanied by the Chamber Choir of of Jönköping. Mary Christmas to everyone who happen to read this and see you soon with more exciting projects and happenings!

Here’s the FULL video that didn’t fit into the 1 min Instagram limit. Enjoy!
